For the U-25, it has been an interesting and challenging year.
The first testing sessions weren't promising but by the time we arrived in Madison (with Jon Zimmerman driving), we were competitive.
We took another step up in Detroit qualifying at more than 151 mph. Then in Tri-Cities, the U-25 was fifth fastest qualifier at more than 156 mph.
Unfortunately, in Heat 1B, the season took a serious detour when the boat fell into a huge hole, going from 170 mph to zero in less than a second and blowing off much of the right sponson and side.
Our crew is working night and day to prepare the boat for Seafair where we expect to be very competitve.
