Kevin Stoltz: Electronics and Computer Specialist
Kevin is an aeronautical engineer, computer and electronics specialist. He is the reason that the U-25 has the best and most reliable data collection records on the circuit. Kevin provides the video record keeping of every run as well, providing invaluable information to monitor hull performance.
Jon Zimmerman: Hull Specialist
Jon is a champion 5-liter driver who holds all the records in the class. He is a skilled builder and understands how to make a boat go faster. He joined our team after Seattle 2009, and was part of the crew in Qatar. He qualified as an Unlimited driver at Madison this year, impressiing with his skill and smarts, and in Detroit qualified the boat at over 151 MPH. After J Dub's injury in Detroit, the U-37 asked if he could drive for them the rest of the year. He is still part of our team and will be back with us after his stint with the U-37.
Gary Scott: Systems and Gearbox
Gary is a long- time team member who specializes in hull systems and gearbox. In the past couple of years, he has had health problems that reduced his involvement with the team, but he is back, bringing his skills, work ethic and unique humor to the U-25. Gary is also one of the hardest workers we know, first to arrive and last to leave. Gary and the U-25 have been a team for nearly a decade.
